The homie Nacey from Washington DC is crushing it on the remix tip right now. His remix of La Roux’s Bulletproof was featured as the opening track on Major Lazer’s Lazerproof mix tape, and now he’s back with a luscious remix of MIA’s new joint “Steppin’ Up.”

Nacey is one-third of Nouveau Riche, a monthly party in Washington, DC, started in 2006 with fellow DJs Gavin Holland and Steve Starks. Nacey is known for his high-energy sets and has shared the stage with the likes of The Count & Sinden, AC Slater, Nadastrom, MSTRKRFT, Blaqstarr, Miami Horror, Scottie B and Eli Escobar to name a few. We first heard about Rico Tubbs when he dropped the Hip Rave Anthem EP on fidget guru Herve’s Cheaper Thrills label. Recently his name popped up in our consciousness again when he was selected to remix our good friend Tittsworth’s track “Here He Comes” on Stretch Armstrong’s Plant Music. Rico is definitely on the rise so we jumped at the chance to join our extended family GoldSweat in sharing his killer new remix with the world.

Simply put, Rico wobbles the shit out of Top Billin’s ‘Playboy Anthem’ (which was featured on Scion’s Discobelle sampler a few months ago). The original was pure class and Rico takes it over the top. This track is fresh out of the studio so get it while its hot!
